I’ve mentioned it before and am getting rather excited to start National Novel Writing Month. Not only because it is on my 31@31 bucket list but because it is something I look forward to every year. This is the fourth time around for me and I’ve only begun planning in the past few days. Every year I say I’m going to buy Chris Baty’s No Plot? No Problem! but always forget. Have you used it or the newer workbook Ready, Set, Novel!?
My story is from a spark that zapped me during my attempt at Story a Day in September and my main character is a mature widowed woman and far from my usual. It is supposed to be science fiction and while there may be hints of romance I hope it doesn’t take center stage.
I’m still trying to decide how to handle blogging next month and have begun to schedule posts in advance but it looks like I’ll be lucky to get one or maybe two posts out a week instead of three.
Are you participating too!? Awesome.
