How do you pick your next photography purchase? Do you skim through Amazon? See an eBook on one of your favorite sites? Or rely on word of mouth? Here are two books on light that I’m currently waffling about. The price is similar for both but the Digital Photography School’s eBook is a PDF and I’d be able to read that on my NOOK whereas The BetterPhoto Guide I’d have to get in paperback.
Learn how light can breathe new life into your photosFull of image examples, hands-on assignments, and proven techniques, this book will show you how to expand your vision and take your photography to the next level.
“In Natural Light, pro travel photographer Mitchell Kanashkevich reveals his secrets for using natural light to enhance the mood, atmosphere, and quality of images.”
I’ve ordered from Darren Rowse before and have always been happy with his eBooks. I like that this one comes with 9 case studies as well.
Which would you choose?
Have you read either book? What did you think? I’d like to grab and devour one during summer vacation. That means I’ll probably be posting my attempts here. You’ve been warned!
